Electronic Speed Control (ESC) is a device used in electrically powered vehicles, such as remote-controlled cars, drones, and airplanes, to control the speed and direction of the motor. It is an electronic circuit that works by varying the amount of power supplied to the brushless motor.

In a drone, the ESC receives signals from the flight controller and converts them to motor commands.
