Foxeer, one of the most popular drone accessories manufacturers, released recently two new StarLight FPV camera for night flights. According to the technical specs, the second generation Cat 2 Mini and Cat 2 Micro cameras feature 0.0001lux minimal illumination in black&white mode and 0.0005lux in color mode.
Both Foxeer Cat 2 cameras adopt 1/3 inch CMOS sensor and 1200 TVL resolution. Thanks to the wide range of input voltage, these cameras can be used with 2~5S LIPO battery packs. Camera settings can be fine-tuned using the included OSD board.
Foxeer Cat 2 Mini vs Cat 2 Micro: What are the differences?
As you can see in the comparison table below, except size and weight there are no other technical differences between the Mini and Micro editions. Both Foxeer Cat 2 cameras feature 0.0001 lux minimal illumination and native flight OSD (voltage, aircraft name, and elapsed time).
