Liftoff, the Drone Racing simulator will be officially released on November 10 for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One gaming consoles. Hopefully, the APP will be also compatible with the newer PS5 and Xbox Series X. Whether in classic racing, freestyle, or multiplayer mode, future pilots can definitely look forward to a thrilling experience with manifold fast-paced races.
Astragon claims that their drone simulator offer a unique and rewarding game experience to all players. That is why all players have the option of activating Assisted Flight mode, which helps stabilize the drones and guarantees newcomers an easy entry to experience fun and action-packed drone races without frustration.
Liftoff Drone Racing: Multiplayer mode
The multiplayer mode will be playable for up to six pilots. In three different modes, players will compete against each other and get the maximum performance out of their virtual racing drones.
Not only races can be played together with other players. In Freestyle mode, up to six pilots can test the limits of the drones. Daring tricks and maneuvers can be flown in this mode without any time pressure.
Liftoff Drone Racing: Campaign mode
By completing the tutorial and the campaign, players thereby will become more confident when dealing with their drones. After some practice, patient players will easily be able to fly several tracks on the various maps without further help.
To have a more realistic gameplay experience skilled FPV-Pilots can adjust the controls at any time. Next to the campaign, Liftoff: Drone Racing offers further exciting game modes, for example, single-player races, a freestyle mode, and a free flight mode, where players can explore the different maps completely at their own leisure.
Price and availability
Liftoff Drone Racing simulator will be available starting with November 10, 2020, for PlayStore and Microsoft Xbox store. While ‘Deluxe Edition’ for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One will be available for $39.99, ‘Standard Edition’ at a price of $34,99. For the extra 5 bucks, you will four premium drone skins.
