Syma, a well known toy drone manufacturer, recently announced the X22W – a wannabe selfie drone. Excepting the small size and built-in WiFi FPV camera, there is nothing like the JJRC H37 aka the first sElfie Drone.
Featuring altitude-hold, the Syma X22W is capable to autonomously maintain its flight altitude at the desired level. Headless flight mode is another feature which makes the aircraft easy to control even for first-time pilots.
During night flights you will be guided by 4 LED lights. Two red ones in front and two green ones on back.
Included remote controller is very simple, without too many buttons nor status LCD. Both control sticks are centered. The right shoulder button allows to enable 3D flip mode. Toggling between “High” and “Low” speed rates can be done by quickly pressing the right control stick as a button.

My son used his drone a few times and then the power does not come on when pressing the power button. He claims that the last thing he did with it was not to crash it. Any suggestions? Reset button?
do you have a second Syma X22W battery? or you can measure the voltage? it should be full charged 4.2 volts!
Kind of a light weight review. No comments at all on how well it flies or how stable the auto hover is. The review calls it a selfie drone wantabe but makes no comment on picture quality or the fact that the JJRC H37 uses the same megapixel size camera. If you are going to dis something you really should explain why.
The article about the Syma X22W, is under the “News” section. There are presented only the raw features and specs.
