FAA Drone Advisory Committee (October 17)

FAA Drone Advisory Congress (October 17)

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) will hold a DAC (Drone Advisory Committee) meeting on October 17, 2019 in Washington, D.C. The DAC will continue with public conversation about how they can collaborate on important issues like remote i.d., technical challenges, security, recreational operations, and waivers. It’s a broad-based, long-term federal advisory committee that provides the FAA with advice on key drone integration issues by helping us identify challenges and prioritize improvements.

All DAC meetings are open to the public, except as provided by section 10 (d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). All meeting materials are public-ally available subject to the Freedom of Information Act. Members of the public may present a written statement to the committee at any time.

If you can’t join us in person, the event will be stream it live on the FAA’s social media platforms: Twitter @FAANews, Facebook @FAA and YouTube beginning at 9:00 am ET.
