Looking on the design and the specs, there is nothing new on the JJRC H5C. It’s only a rebranded Syma X5C. The only changes on this quadcopter is the logo on the top of the aircraft and the remote controller.
Probably they will drop the price by a few dollars to be more attractive than the Syma model.
The H5C Explorers from JJRC is a ready-to-fly quadcopter. The kit box includes everything you need to fly this aircraft. Also, the quadcopter is equipped with a HD camera for aerial photography.
There are no improvements on the flight time and flight range of the JJRC H5C compared to the X5C. You can fly with this quadcopter for approximately 5-7 minutes and a maximum 50 meters far from the pilot.
The only good news is that usually, the JJRC aircraft are using the “V2x2” transmitter protocol. If they also adopted this protocol on the H5C it means it will be able to fly with any DeviationTX compatible transmitter and maybe we will got a better flight range.
JJRC H5C specs:
- Transmitter frequency: 2.4 GHz;
- 4-channel transmitter;
- 6-Axis gyro for better stability;
- Onboard HD camera with 2GB micro SD card;
- For indoor and outdoor;
- Flight time: Up to 7 minutes;
- Controlling distance: up to 50 meters, depending on where you fly with the JJRC H5C;
- 1 cell 3.7V 500mAh Li-poly;
- USB battery charger;
- Size of the JJRC H5C quadcopter: 31×31 cm.
Woops, I’m talking about the JJRC H5P. Just realised I was saying H5(C) instead of H5(P). Idk if JJRC does make a H5C or not
False, false, everything is false.
The JJRC H5C is pretty uniquely different. Comes in black or green, different Camara, different battery (1,100mah not 600mah) therefore twice the flight time of the Syma X5C, in fact close to 25 minutes without Camara landing gear or propeller guards. With about 15 min more or less; since the battery is bigger it goes on top of the drone under the JJRC logo cover not on the bottom where the cover is the Camara like the X5C.. Range, I’m not 100% sure about it but I’ve seen plenty of videos of people in OPEN FIELDS getting close to 100 meters which is 328 feet.. which is obviously twice the range of the Syma X5C’s 50 meters.
I’m sure there may be more differences that I havnt mentioned, but the JJRC H5C isn’t “just another clone of the X5C”. Well obviously is it but It is in fact better than it in many ways.
I ordered a JJRC H5C on Amazon for $78 free shipping and it’s arriving g in 3 days. I can’t wait for it.
Just felt like sharing because who ever wrote this either knew about all their differences and lied about it for marketing purposes or didn’t know and was talking smack. Either way why lie to promote your product when it has been mastered by someone else?
Hi Eddy and thank you for clarification!
Il mio JJRC H5C dopo 3 ricariche di batteria non rise più a collegarsi al telecomando
My JJRC H5C after 3 recharges of battery does not connect to remote controller.
Probably the battery of the H5C is dead, why so soon? Chinese quality :)
Only after 5 recharges, o got the same results….
No compatible with V2x2 protocol, Dawn :(
Yes! you have right, I updated the post.
Can I switch to Mode 4 (2 ?) on the H5C so that aileron and throttle are on the left stick ?
