For less than 200 bucks, the JJRC JJPRO X5 EPIK drone features a GPS positioning system, barometric altitude hold, intelligent flight modes, and a full HD camera with a 1-axis mechanical gimbal.
As designed, the JJRC X5 is almost identical to the MJX Bugs 5W. It adopts a similar fuselage and high landing gears. Even the propellers seem to be the same type. These two drones are probably made in the same factory but under different brand names.
The drone measures 35 X 35 X 9.5 cm and weighs about 400 grams. According to the manufacturer’s specs, the 1800mAh LiPo battery allows up to 18 mins of flying time. During night flights, you will be guided by four LED lights (one under each motor).

do i need a 5G phone to work this drone? I have a Galaxy S10
You need a phone with 5.8GHZ WIFI. 2G, 4G, and 5G, refers to Mobile data connectivity with your GSM operator
I am only receiving video signal at 20ft radios what’s the problem please let me know
i just got the Epik and flew it today for the first time. I am having difficulty using the 5G wifi app on my phone.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S8+ and is supposed to support 5G. It appears to be connected and I can see the video feed on the phone in the APP but I can’t use any of the other app functions. I get a message that it cannot connect.
“The dual antenna system offers up to 600 meters control range.”
From what I’ve read elsewhere online (more than once) the dual antennas are purely cosmetic. Regardless, it didn’t stop me buying one :)
Hola, cuanto tiempo dura en el aire con cada batería?
Hello, how long does it last in the air with each battery?
And again: it´s 5 GHz, NOT 5.8!!!!
you have perfectly right! but I specified that is about WiFi FPV not analogue FPV (like in case of racing drones)
