Following the success of the T8SG transmitter, Jumper announced an upgraded version called T8SG Plus. In addition to the open-source software and adjustable transmission power, the Jumper VT8SG V2.0 Plus comes with a nice gold finish design.
Similar to other professional remote controllers, the upgraded “Plus” edition comes with 6 shoulder switches, instead of only 4 like the first model had.
By default, the transmitter comes with an AA battery cage, but by removing it you can power the RC with LiPo batteries as well (2s is suggested). According to the rumored specs, the RC accepts a wide range of input voltage (from 4.5 to 18V).
What we know yet about the Jumper T8SG Plus
- All-in-one multi-protocol transmitter;
- Open source multi-protocol firmware;
- Smooth Hall Sensor gimbals
- Adjustable transmission power (0 ~ 150 mW);
- Up 12 channels (software and receiver dependent);
- Detachable 2db antenna included;
- 4 in 1 RF chip: JP-4MP (CC2500, NRF24L01, A7105 and CYRF6936);
- 2.42-inch OLED display, 128 * 64 resolution;
- Telemetry (depending on the receiver);
- Sound and vibration alert;
- 2S Li-Po compatible;
Like its predecessor, the T8SG+ also features sound and vibrations alerts. This is very helpful when you have telemetry configured. For example, the transmitter will warn you when the flight battery is near empty and it’s time to land.
