With a weight of just 9.80 grams (0.35 ounces) and a price of $49.99, the newly announced RunCam Thumb camera is a serious competitor to the Insta360 GO 2.
The RunCam Thumb measures 52x13x19.5mm and it comes with a detachable lens cover that can be replaced with a neutral density filter if needed. On the front, it has a 150° FOV lens and a Power/Shutter button. On the back side there is a 2Pin 5V DC power input plug. To keep it light as possible, the camera does not have an integrated battery.
At the bottom of the camera there is a micro USB port that can be used to transfer files from the camera and for firmware upgrade.
RunCam provides with their Thumb camera a mounting bracket, DC cable, ND16 filter, and micro USB cable.
