Xiaomi, one of the most popular Chinese electronic gadgets manufacturer just revealed their second drone. The Xiaomi MiTu quadcopter brings infrared battle feature which allows multi-player flights.
According to the manufacture’s specs, the 920 mAh battery allows about 10 minutes of flight time. Frankly, not bad for such a small and inexpensive drone.
In front of the MiTu drone is located a 720P camera with WiFI real-time image transmission. In addition to the 1280 x 720 video recording, the drone is capable to take still photos with resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels.
Just like the DJI Tello, the Xiaomi MiTu is also equipped with brushed motors. Actually there are many similarities between these two drones. Both are among the category under $100 drones dedicated for newbie pilots and both are delivered with removable blade protectors.

Good news, I just an email from BG: “We have great news, your preorder of Xiaomi MiTu arrived and is in stock!“. Stay tuned for hands-on review!
Where can I purchase the Bluetooth Controller for the MiTu drone? I don’t see it listed as an option to purchase it…
Thanks.
wow pretty cool! I love Xiaomi products. Both, my phone and action camera are from them. I like this Mitu drone too. I think will order one. It will have RTF version (with remote controller), honeslty I hate APP controll.
with only 11cm wheelbase will have poor win resistance :( The MiTu drone will be more a indoor than outdoor flyer.
