After the popular Tarantula X6, this time Yizhan came up with a much smaller and more affordable quadcopter called iDrone i4S. This new model features an integrated 2MP camera which allows capturing aerial videos as well as still photos.
Thanks to the one key return to home (RTH), headless flight mode, and integrated propeller guards, this Yizhan iDrone i4S looks perfectly suitable for newbies.
The game-pad style remote controller, additionally to the usual control sticks and trim buttons, has another six control buttons. While the left shoulder button allows to take photos and to switch between different flight speed rates the right one allows to start/stop video recording and to enable the 3D flip mode.
Powered by a 350 mAh battery, this Yizhan i4S quad has about 5 minutes of flight autonomy which I know it isn’t too great. Anyway, if you need longer playtime, the battery is removable so you can have a couple of charged ones ready for the next flight.
Two frontal blue LEDs will help to determine the position of the aircraft during night flights. Beginner pilots often become disoriented regarding which is the front and rear of the aircraft.
