DJI Mini 3 PRO filters: All day, for All situations

The DJI Mini 3 Pro is a compact and versatile flying camera for content creators. Its 4K camera features 3-axis gimbal stabilization and true vertical (portrait) mode for TikTokers. K&F Concept’s filter kit is an excellent addition to this drone when shooting in challenging light conditions.

Its Quad Bayer 12.1-megapixel 1/1.3-inch sensor allows the same image sensor to shoot 48 megapixels without a ghosting effect. It can even shoot RAW photos for post-processing. The MINI 3 Pro also features D-Cinelike, a unique video color profile that DJI has created for its high-end consumer drones. D-Cinelike preserves shadows, highlights, and mid-tones, which, after being color-graded, makes the footage look spectacular. However, having an f/1.7 aperture lens, you may need to use ND filters to lower the shutter speed for some shots.

UV filters prevent dust and dirt from contacting the lens and act as a protective cover that shields your Mini 3 Pro’s camera during a frontal collision. Theoretically, a premium-quality UV filter won’t affect image quality, exposure settings, coloration, or contrast and will help with clarity and sharpness while protecting your lens. Nevertheless, professional photographers believe UV filters can negatively affect image quality, so they avoid using them.

A circular polarizer, aka CPL filter, is a popular and powerful tool that can reduce or eliminate glare and reflections from surfaces in your aerial footage. In addition, CPL filters increase the overall contrast of the image.

K&F Concept DJI Mini 3 PRO filters review
